Bound score (68 pages) for the choral adaptation of words to Schubert's Unfinished Symphony No. 8 (Unfinished) with music composed by Frank Tapp and word written by Major Edward L. Bloom. Typed and attached to inside front cover: 'An Agreement made this 5th. day of April, 1944, between L. Wane Daley, who is empowered to act for Frank Tapp, and Major Edward L. Bloom. In consideration of a fee of fifty - seven pounds tan shillings, it is agreed that the said Frank Tapp will undertake the choral adaptation of Major Edward L. Bloom's poetical text to Schubert's 'Unfinished Symphony.' It is further agreed that Frank Tapp will relinquish all claims, including publishing, broadcasting, film and miscellaneious rights in this musical which he assigns outright to the said Major Edward L. Bloom to have and to hold for the above sum. The part payment on account of twenty-eight pounds fifteen shillings, the recipts of which is hereby acknowledge, is to be accompanied by a cheque (added in post composition above other text - 'for the same amount') post-dated the 25th. April, by which day Frank Tapp will use his best endeavours to complete and deliver the choral adaptation to Major Edward L Bloom. Signed for and on behalf of Frank Tapp (signature of L.
