National Conference on Soviet Jewry, 1973
Abstract
Materials related to the National Conference on Soviet Jewry. Jewish federations and community relations councils in the U.S. came together in 1971 reorganize the American Jewish Conference on Soviet Jewry, to be renamed the National Conference on Soviet Jewry. A separate New York City entity is also approved, leading to the creation of the Greater New York Conferene on Soviet Jewry.

Scope and Contents
Most of the records consist of letters, educational materials, bulletins and published newspaper accounts of activities by world-wide, national and local groups on behalf of Soviet Jews. Rhoda Friedman collected most of this material. The Records also have scrapbooks about Lillian Hoffman.
