Biographical / Historical
Beverly Elinoff was born in 1930 and passed in June 2009. She started dancing at an early age studying ballet, tap, and piano. Later in life, a friend took her folk dancing and she was hooked for the rest of her life. Beverly was the founder and manager of One World Folk Dancers, an international folk dance performing group who danced at schools, festivals, and retirement and senior centers. Beverly graduated from DU with a degree in psychology and sociology and earned her Master's in Special Education. She went on to teach special education in Aurora Public Schools until retirement.
