Biography
Louis Cook was born May 8, 1895 in Denver, Colo. He married Susie Finer in 1918. Cook was one of the founders of the Hebrew Educational Alliance and was a member of its board for a number of years. He was also the founder of the Louis Cook Plumbing Co. and worked with the company until 1980. He died on April 9, 1981.

Abstract
The members of the 8th grade class at Cheltenham School sit on the steps of the school located at the corner of Irving Street and West Colfax Avenue in Denver, Colorado. Abstract
Russian Jewish immigrants Harry and Ida Cook journeyed to the American West in the early 1890s. They later opened Cook's Russian Baths in Denver. It served both as a mikvah (ritual bath) operated at night for women by Ida and during the day as a popular stean open to the public, complete with catered Kosher meals.
