Biography
Cantor Josef Rosenblatt was born in Ukraine in 1882 and died in Jerusalem, Israel in 1933. At the age of 18, Josef Kauffman married Taube Kaufman and became cantor at the Chasidic community of Munkacs, Hungary. In 1912, he moved to Harlem to take a position at the Ohab Zedek orthodox congregation. He was cantor at Ohab Zadek until 1927 and then performed thoughout the United States. He had a major influence on cantorial music's "Golden Age" and had a singing role in the Jazz Singer.

Lipa Feingold Sheet Music and Patents
Lipa Feingold moved to Denver in 1908 with his family and they resided in the city's west Colfax East European Jewish community. Feingold worked as a jeweler, but he composed musical compositions and lyrics in English and Yiddish in his spare time. In 1925 he left Denver for New York City to pursue his musical career in Tin Pan Alley. The collection consists of a number of Feingold's sheet music, bulletins and jewelry patents.
