Biography
Rabbi Judah Leib Rosenbloom was a Polish-born Talmudic scholar and rabbi. He was considered one of the foremost authorities on the Talmud. He was born in Warsaw around 1862 into a family with generations of rabbis. He was self-educated and practiced as a rabbi in Poland for 37 years before immigrating to Denver, CO in 1923. In Denver, he practiced as a rabbi at the Zera Abraham and Kneses Israel Synagogues. He was survived by two sons, Rabbi Jacob Rosenbloom and Rev. Sam Rosenbloom; and five daughters, Dora Rosenbloom Aranowitz, Fanny Rosenbloom Rudy, Dorothy Rosenbloom Kaufman, Rale Rosenbloom Grossglick, and Esther Rosenbloom Konczaty.
