Fox, Samuel E.
Biography
Samuel E. Fox was a Denverite businessman and philanthropist. He was a sheet-metal contractor and a civic leader in Denver, who founded Sam Fox Sheet Metal Co. and Fox Metal Products, the region's largest sheet-metal manufacturing company. He was a founder of Rose Memorial Hospital and an officer of BMH Synagogue. He belonged to the Green Gables Country Club. He married Mary Elaine Bronstein on June 16, 1929. He was born around 1908 and died around 1989.
He died in Los Angeles, California in his home at the age of 81 on April 20, (19__?). He was survived by his wife, Mary, and their three sons, Phillip, Stanley, and Norman, nine grandchildren, and his sister, Mollie.
He could be the Sam Fox pictured in the Hebrew School Class at Yeshiva Eitz Chaim, circa 1913 photograph B063.06.0006.00028.
