Sheaf of detached leaves with mounting instructions, 16th-18th c.
A sheaf of seven detached leaves from a variety of early modern printed books, especially Bibles and related works. The sheaf is attached with a paper clip, prefaced by a small sheet with mounting instructions for the leaves. A number of the leaves are from the same volumes as the other detached leaves in this folder and in M084.02.0002.0002.

Two photocopied newspaper articles about Stanley Slotkin's donations of dismembered Bible leaves. The first article, from 21 March 1969, from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is entitled "Millions in Bibles Page-by-Page Gifts" and the second, from 15 May 1969, from the Los Angeles Times is entitled "Collector Giving Away Bible Fortune."
