Robert Weinberg was born in Denver, Colorado, to David and Faye Weinberg. His aunt was Rose Weinberg, a nurse during World War II. Robert Weinberg was a photographer for more than forty years. His career first started in East St. Louis, Illinois, as a Vista Volunteer photographer. He moved to Colorado and started his own photographic business in the late 1980's.
