Judd, Eleanore Parelman, 1928-2020
Biography
Eleanore Fay Parelman Judd was born May 30, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Minnie and Jake Parelman. She married E. James Judd in 1949 and the couple raised three children--Kenneth, Joel, and Nancy (Crawford). She was involved in community organizations, such as the League of Women Voters and the Democratic Party. She helped found Congregation Rodef Shalom and served as President of the Colordo Chapter of the American Jewish Committee. In 1986, she was awarded a doctorate of Socialogy from the University of Denver. She co-directed Denver's Jewish Population in 1980. Eleanore Judd died in Denver on April 14, 2020.
