Biography
Central City Opera House is given to the University of Denver by the McFarlane family in 1932 (Ida Kruse McFarlane, Professor of English at DU, good friends with Anne Evans). The CCOHA was administered as a non-profit corporation during this time.

Box 291: Negatives, 1959-1960
This box contains approximately 150 negatives from the Central City Opera festival taken during various social events, productions, and candid images of CCOHA affiliates from the 1955 festival season. Negatives were found in the CCOHA offices, when rehoused any information pertaining to image was transfered onto the sleeve handwritten in pencil. Images may or may not exist in printed form elsewhere in the collection and images may or may not represent every event from the season.

This box contains approximately 150 negatives from the Central City Opera festival taken during various social events, productions, and candid images of CCOHA affiliates from the 1960-1968 festival seasons. Negatives were found in the CCOHA offices, when rehoused any information pertaining to image was transfered onto the sleeve handwritten in pencil. Images may or may not exist in printed form elsewhere in the collection and images may or may not represent every event from the season.
