Abstract

Haim David Spivak (1893-1932) was the son of Dr. Charles D. Spivak, a founder of the JCRS. David Spivak was an artist who painted portraits and landscapes and was one of three co-founders of the Denver Artists Guild. The file contains information on Haim David Spivak, copies of a bookplate he designed for his father, a catalog of his paintings (1914-1932), and correspondence, aboutf his "Ten Commandments" painting.

Abstract Elizabeth Antonofsky [Anthony] Epstein (1871-1938) was born in Kiev, Russia. Her family moved to New York, where she met Frederick Epstein (1865-1931), originally of Lithuania. The couple moved to Colorado for Fredrick's tuberculosis, and they settled in East Denver where he worked as an insurance salesman.
