Square footage: 180,000. Date Built: 2002. Built in 2002 to house the Lamont School of Music and provide a variety of performance venues. Virginia E. Trevorrow Hall is the academic wing of the center. [It] includes four state of the art classrooms; rehearsal spaces for orchestra, opera/chorus, and jazz; a professional digital recording studio; a music lab; a library; and several virtual practice rooms. June Swaner Gates Concert Hall a 1,000 seat venue designed for opera and large ensembles. Frederic C. Hamilton Family Recital Hall which includes a 2500 pipe Schuke Orgelbau Berlin organ. Elizabeth Eriksen Byron Theater a 350 seat flexible space for drama. Joy Burns Plaza serves as a commons.
