Abstract
Ernest Morris was born in Thorn, Germany and came to the United States as a child. He graduated from the University of Colorado with degrees in philosophy and law. He was a board member of the Colorado Historical Association for two decades and was president from 1932 through 1936. His unpublished manuscript "Gathering Much" covers his early life and legal career. Ira C. Rothgerber, Sr. (1878-1956), and Ira C. Rothgerber, Jr. (-1993), were a father and son who gained acclaim in Colorado for their legal work throughout the 20th century. Ira C. Rothgerber, Sr., was born in 1878 and received a law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1901. Abstract
Samuel Ralph Freeman was a lawyer originally from New York. He was assistant to the Colorado Attorney General from 1955-1958, Vice President of the Denver Rio Grande Railroad and later as the assistant to the chancellor at the University of Denver. He was also president of B’nai B’rith. Collection contains memoirs written by Samuel Freeman related Samuel Ralph from 1929 through 2003.
