Biographical / Historical

Leon Loughridge (n.d.) is an american artist and printmaker, specializing in reduction woodblocks, etchings, and limited edition books. He attended the Colorado Institute of Art (now known as the Art Institute of Colorado) and was stationed in Stuttgart, Germany during the Vietnam war, where he further studied painting techniques. Having grown up in the ranching region of New Mexico, he is deeply influenced by the southwestern landscape.
